Dietz attended the Department of Recording Industry at Middle Tennessee State University from 1995-1998, and also studied classical music.

Graduated from Poolesville High School (Poolesville Maryland) in 1993
Dietz has been vegetarian since 1994, and vegan since 1996.
Jason Dietz worked with At Risk Youth in Murfreesboro TN from 1999-2016.
Dietz Co-Owned a recycling business (Curbside collection) in Murfreesboro TN with musician partner David Talley from 2017-2021. Talley and Dietz sold the business in January 2021 to continue to pursue musical careers.
